When People Succeed, It Is Because Of Hard Work. Luck Has Nothing To Do With Success

I disagree with the quotation/the header above.

First of all, I believe that we need to do the work efficiently, not in a hard way. There are many people who work hard, but unfortunately to the wrong focus or goals, which makes their hard works become worthless.

In my opinion, luck and hard work have a very close connection. Once a man does all the hard work with no luck attached to it, his success story will be just like the ordinary one. But when the hard work has luck added, the success story will be brighter than the others.

Luck is one of the most important factors in being successful. There are so many people in this world who have become successful in financial areas, because of luck. For example, the story about a man named Christopher L. Jr, Customer Satisfaction and Public Relation. A General Manager at Mercedez Benz. He used to be an ordinary plumber, doing hard work to fix the plumbing in houses. One day, his luck brought him to meet Mr. Benz, the number 1 person in Mercedez Benz Company. As Mr. Benz was very impressed by his work and the after-service given to him, he recruited him and gave him a very good position in the Company. Fortunately, his hard work combined with luck brought him to the very best in his career.

There are also stories about people who cling on just to the luck. It might bring them to the top, but it will not last. Once people know that they can't do the work properly, this luck will not bring him to anywhere. There are several fraud stories in financial companies, an example is the story about Charles Ponzi, who become notorious because of his fraud techniques, by collecting the fraud from investors, and the funds collected would be used to pay the interest to the previous investors. He didn't do anything, there was no hard work done, but he was lucky enough to have the trust from the investors for years, until one time, his fraud was revealed and he lost his luck.

P.S: This is my English homework that has reviewed and corrected by my English teacher (Sam). There were many corrections, hehe, but that's ok, I was learning something.. Hopefully my English will be improved :)
